Guides
Know before you explore.
Knowledge is the most seductive thing you can bring to a scene. Buying and care guides for BDSM and dolls — honest, adult-only, and written to help you choose well, not to oversell.
Your first BDSM kit — where to start
- Talk before you buy. Agree on interests, limits, and a safeword together before choosing any equipment.
- Consent is ongoing. Anyone can pause or stop at any time, for any reason, without pressure or guilt.
- Start small. A soft blindfold, wide padded cuffs, and one gentle impact toy are common beginner choices.
- Choose adjustable, non-locking items so everything releases quickly and easily.
- Check care and storage first — pick materials you can realistically clean and keep properly.

Latex vs. leather — materials and care
- Latex is a stretchy, form-fitting sheet material; leather is a durable hide that softens and shapes with use.
- Putting latex on usually needs talc or a dressing aid; leather generally wears in over time.
- Latex care: store away from heat, sunlight, and sharp objects, and clean as the maker directs.
- Leather care: clean and condition with products made for leather; follow the maker's guidance.
- Feel differs: latex is often described as a tight "second skin," while leather is heavier and warmer.

Realistic doll care and storage
- Cleaning depends on the material — TPE and silicone are treated differently. Follow the maker's instructions for your doll.
- Dry fully before storage to help avoid surface damage; give extra attention to seams and joints.
- Store on a soft, supportive surface, standing or lying down, away from sharp pressure points and extremes of heat or cold.
- Avoid dyes and rough fabrics that can transfer colour or stain the surface.
- Handle gently — support the doll's weight when moving it and treat fingers and joints with care.
